A new salary offer with a 33% increase was presented by the provincial government to the unions that represent public employees, a proposal that runs between June and October. The offer takes the provincial and national economic context as a parameter.
With the June salaries, next month public employees will receive a 9% increase when the last inflation rate was 4.2%. At this point, it was highlighted that Salta is one of the provinces that maintains a permanent dialogue with the different sectors and the reinstatement of the Teacher Incentive was given as an example, which until the end of the year will be paid with provincial funds.
The leaders were grateful for the governor’s decision Gustavo Saenz to restore the Teacher Incentive Fund until next December, which will be renamed Teacher Transitional Compensation, which will also include the Connectivity item. The payment of this benefit will mean an investment of $7,740 million for the Province.
The parties will meet today at technical tables with officials and representatives of the different sectors to analyze this new offer and specific issues of each area. They will meet again tomorrow, Thursday 27th, at a general table.
