Municipality of Mendoza informs about the activity of the Veterinary Mobile in July. It will be installed in the Community Integration Center No. 1, during this month. Besides, Assistance continues to be provided at the fixed Veterinary Center, located in La Favorita.
In pursuit of the promotion of integral Healththe capital of Mendoza offers quality and completely free sterilization services for your canine and feline pet, as well as clinical consultations and anti-rabies vaccinations.for residents of the capital.
The Veterinary Mobile will be offering its free services canine and feline sterilization from July 8 to 30, Monday to Thursday from 2 p.m.in it Community Integration Center No. 1 (entrance at 9 de Julio Street 3565 in the City).
Veterinary Mobile shift modality:
To access the castration and surgery service for dogs and cats, interested parties must request a prior appointment through 147.
Municipal Veterinary Center
It’s located on Avenida Libertador, between Felix Dardo Palorma and Fundadores, from La Favorita.
Benefits provided:
Castrations
- Tuesday and Thursday, at 8 a.m. Attention with scheduled shifts on line 147 (“Health” option).
- Wednesday, at 8am. Attention by spontaneous demand (EXCLUSIVE for residents of La Favorita).
General consultations, deworming and rabies vaccination
- Monday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Spontaneous turns.
Exclusive Requirements
- Be a resident of the City of Mendoza (present ID with an updated address in the capital and prove you live there).
- Shifts are assigned to people over 18 years of age.
- If you get the turn, take the animal with 8 hours of solid and liquid fasting, dogs with a muzzle and leash; cats in boxes or kennels.
- That the pets are more than 5 months and less than 5 years of age.
Castrations cannot be performed in the following cases:
- animals over 5 years of age;
- animals under 5 months old;
- animals that are overweight or in a state of cachexia (very underweight, anemic);
- animals in heat;
- animals with pre-existing pathologies;
- brachycephalic breed dogs (with respiratory problems, short noses), nor poodles or poodle mixes, nor other mini breeds (e.g. chihuahua, miniature dachshund, etc.).
