Committee of Coffee Growers of Huila and the Mayor’s Office of Colombia, allies for rural development

• The Coffee Growers Committee of Huila and the Mayor’s Office of Colombia established the agreement CN-2024-0596 through the maintenance of the tertiary road network through the construction of 24″ culverts in critical sites.
• The main objective of this joint effort is to benefit approximately more than 300 coffee-growing families in the municipality.

In a joint effort to improve the living conditions of coffee-growing families in the municipality of Colombia, Huila, Mayor Arbe Vargas Manguera and the Executive Director of the Departmental Committee of Coffee Growers of Huila, Edna Yolima Calderón Ome, have entered into an important agreement.

The Huila Coffee Growers Committee celebrated this agreement with the mission of seeking and promoting the prosperity and general interest of coffee producers. The main objective is to combine technical, administrative and financial efforts to improve the living conditions of the municipality’s coffee-growing families, through the maintenance of the tertiary road network through the construction of 24″ sewers in critical sites. This project will benefit approximately more than 300 coffee-growing families.
