lto the Attorney General’s Office of the Nation reported that a judge of guarantees imposed a measure of security in a prison establishment on José Alirio Useche Vanegas, an English teacher who allegedly sexually abused several of his students in the different schools where he worked in Cundinamarca.
In some cases, the victims reported that he posed as a member of an illegal armed group to intimidate them and prevent them from reporting him.
According to investigations, this man took advantage of his power relationship over underage students to make sexual advances to them, send them videos with pornographic content and subject them to different acts against their will.
They also explained that, during his 13 years of professional practice, he sexually assaulted eight of his students. In some cases, victims reported that he posed as a member of an illegal armed group to intimidate them and prevent them from reporting him.

Officials of the Criminal Investigation Technical Corps (CTI) They captured Useche Vanegas in Zipaquirá (Cundinamarca). A prosecutor from the Sexual Crimes Unit of Funza (Cundinamarca) charged him with the crimes of sexual acts with a minor under 14 years of age, de facto insults and sexual harassment. The charges were not accepted.
