DNI account will offer discounts for winter holidays

Banco Provincia’s digital wallet, DNI Account, will offer new discounts for its users during the month of July in view of the winter holidays.

In July, DNI Account will offer a 30% discount in gastronomy businesses during the weekends, with a limit of $5,000 per person. This new savings comes in a month in which families carry out activities during the winter holidays and many people gather in bars and restaurants for Friends’ Day, which is celebrated on July 20.

The benefit will be valid from Saturday, July 6 in restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors and fast food establishments. This was announced by the governor of the province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, who also confirmed the continuity of all discounts in force in June. All participating businesses will be published on the Banco Provincia website.

“You know that there is a mechanism for discounts, refunds for promotions, which is an effort by the Government and the Provincial Bank (BAPRO). What we do with the DNI Account could be done by any private bank or Banco Nación. This, which began in a pandemic, is intended to give a boost to the pockets of Buenos Aires residents. DNI account has almost 9 million users. It will be sustained during the holidays and there will be new benefits,” he stated.

For the winter holidays, he specified that there will be “30% savings on Saturdays and Sundays in July on gastronomy; and others 30% discount from July 13 to 28 on shows, entertainment and others” and added that refunds on credit card purchases will remain in force: “Supermarkets 20%; fairs and events 20%, clothing and sports house 30%.”

  • Gastronomy: 30% discount on Saturdays and Sundays in participating stores, with a weekly limit of $5,000 per person, which is reached with a ticket of $16,600.
  • Butcher shops, farms and fishmongers: 35% discount on Saturdays in participating stores, with a weekly limit of $5,500 per person, which is reached with $15,700 in consumption.
  • Nearby shops: 20% savings from Monday to Friday, with a monthly limit of $5,600 per person. It is reached with $28,000 in consumption.
  • People over 60 years: 30% savings, from Monday to Friday in local businesses affiliated with the DNI Account. Monthly limit of $6,600 per person that is reached with $22,000 in consumption.
  • Fairs, markets and events:40% discount every day, with a weekly limit of $4,000. It is reached with $10,000 in consumption.
  • Young people from 13 to 17 years old:$2,000 refund on transportation and cell phone recharges per person per month.
  • Special universities:40% savings in participating businesses of Buenos Aires universities, with a weekly limit of $4,000 per person. It is reached with $10,000 in consumption.
  • Carafes:40% on the purchase of bottles, with a limit of $3,600 per person per month.

All people over 13 can access the DNI Account. If you do not yet have an account at Banco Provincia, the entity opens a free savings bank to the interested party at the bank branch of your choice and it is enabled within 48 hours. It is necessary to have the latest physical version of the document to register a DNI Account.

To open a DNI Account, you must download the application and follow these steps:

  1. Place your ID inside the box on the screen, capture the front part and then the back part
  2. Validate your identity by positioning the phone towards the center of your face
  3. Complete your personal information, associate your account or within 72 business hours we will enable a new one

The benefits are applied by paying via QR DNI Account and/or DNI Code. The refund will be reflected in the movements of the account linked to the app, within 10 business days in which the purchase was made.
