Mendoza, on alert for strong winds: know the affected areas

He National Metereological Service threw a alert weather that affects Malargüe due to strong winds. The gusts will be felt starting on Thursday afternoon.

“The mountain area of ​​southern Mendoza will be affected by strong winds from the western sector, with speeds between 50 and 75 km/h, with gusts that can reach 90 km/h, especially in higher areas,” explained the SMN in its system of alert early.

Meanwhile, in the rest of the province a day with cloudiness and an increase in temperature is expected. In the high mountains, blizzards are expected in the afternoon.

• Northern Zone, composed of Lavalle and Las Heras: maximum of 19° and minimum of 3°.
• Central Zone, made up of Godoy Cruz, Guaymallén, Luján de Cuyo and Maipú: maximum of 18° and minimum of 4°.
• Uco Valley area, composed of Tupungato, Tunuyán and San Carlos: maximum of 20° and minimum of 4°.
• Southern Zone, consisting of San Rafael, General Alvear and Malargüe: maximum of 23° and minimum of 3°.
