A man from Chubut suffered a major scam on the internet when he tried to buy a tractor that was for sale through social networks. He contacted the supposed seller to carry out the transaction and ended up scammed.
The affected man is a farmer worker from the Bryn Gwyn farm area, near the town of Gaiman. Through Facebook he found a Fiat 400 tractor for a value of $3,000,000.
Then he managed to communicate with the seller who was in the province of San Luis, with the aim of agreeing on the payment method. In this way, the scammer told his victim that the total value included freight to the destination.

The man revealed to the police that $500,000 would be the freight, while the remaining $2,500,000 would be the value of the machine.
As reported El Chubut Newspaper, the thief deceived his victim with a particular promise. He indicated to him that had to deliver $125,000 as a deposit for the freightwhile they would pay the other half. Meanwhile, the remaining $250,000 had to be transferred upon arrival in Chubut.
For this reason, The victim deposited the money, however he never received a response and ended up getting scammed. After the complaint, the police already intervened.
