Within the framework of the Sea Festivals, the samarian artist Carlos Vives He was one of those in charge of the bottle opener. “The origin”a celebration that will take place from July 25 to 29 in Santa Marta in its 65th edition and that promises to revive all the cultural wealth of the most beautiful Bay in America.

The launch of the Festivities took place this Wednesday in Bogotá.
“’El Origen’ is the official brand of the event, which aims to revive key moments in the construction of the cultural and community identity of the city, paying tribute to our roots”said the district Mayor’s Office in a statement.
This festival will have an extensive program ranging from nautical sports, musical shows and a gastronomic fair.

The mayor of Santa Marta was present at the launch, Carlos Pinedo Cuello, the singer-songwriter Carlos Vives; the Secretary of District Culture, Darío José Linero Mejía; the National Captain of the Sea 2023, Daniela Restrepo Henao, and the Ambassador of the Sea Festival, Ana Sofía Urbina.
