The ICT Ministry presents the figures for connections to the television service during the period from January to March 2024, which shows that 6.23 million Colombians were connected: 6.14 million by subscription and more than 90,000 to the community service.

Likewise, gross operational income received by subscription television service operators was recorded, which reached $838,000 million pesos, while the community television service recorded $6,711 million pesos.

In relation to the advertising schedule, the gross income received by subscription television service operators reached $3,854 million pesos in the first quarter of 2024, reflecting an increase compared to 2023, when a value of $1,790 million was obtained. of pesos. Meanwhile, the gross income from advertising received by community service operators reached $77 million pesos.

The main technologies of the Community Television service include HFC Analogue, which has 82,320 members, and Satellite, which has 3,708. In terms of subscriptions, HFC Digital has 3.5 million subscribers; IPTV via fibre, 1.3 million; Satellite, 587 thousand, and HFC Analogue, 181 thousand.
