Electric bill digitization will be implemented in Holguín

Given the country’s call to promote the banking process and promote new forms of electronic payment and due to the limitation of paper for printing, the Holguín Electric Company will gradually adopt, starting next July, the digitalization of the invoice electricity that leads to eliminating the delivery of the printed receipt for electricity consumption and the home collection service.

In the month of July, the invoice (which can be blue or red) will be presented by the collecting reader and the collection service will be eliminated in all urban areas and gradually in rural areas. Collection, at home, of vulnerable clients defined in each commercial office will be guaranteed. In rural areas, where there are no forms of electronic payments, collection by the collecting reader is maintained. Customers who receive the digital invoice will not be given a printed invoice.

Customers who will not pay the collecting reader, to make the payment at the Commercial Office, bank or post office, must show the invoice. If it is lost or misplaced, the client must know its ID (it is found on each invoice) to be located in the databases or type it in the digital payment platforms.

Customers must guarantee payment of the consumption of the electrical service on the days from the 6th to the 16th of the month next to the consumption of the electrical service; once the term has expired, the service will be suspended due to non-payment.

If you are going to make your payment at any other collection point other than the commercial office of the Electric Company, you must do so 3 days before the due date.

In the medium term, invoice printing will be gradually eliminated until it reaches one hundred percent of customers. From that moment on, customers will only receive their invoice in the following ways:
1- Consultation through Transfermóvil, Enzona or ATMs.

2- Via Email, whenever clients sign up for the email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. declaring the ID in the subject.
3- Consultation in person or by telephone at the Commercial Office of the Holguín Electric Company to which you belong.

PAYMENT METHODS:

-Through the digital platforms Transfermóvil, Enzona or ATMs, in these cases, the client must keep the receipt issued by each platform as proof of payment.

-Bank or Post Office, (Both systems provide clients with the receipts established by their systems).

-At the windows of the commercial offices of the Electric Company you will receive from the window, as proof of payment: Form H-370 Payment notice or the receipt itself (blue or red) signed and stamped with the stamp of payment when the customer present it to make payment.
