- The Provincial Government doubled the amounts originally budgeted for the audiovisual promotion plan, raising the contribution to the sum of 200 million pesos.
- The initiative promotes the development of the audiovisual industry through incentives for different stages of production.
The Córdoba Culture Agency, through the Audiovisual Pole of the Government of Córdoba, launches the 2024 Development Plan for the development of the audiovisual industry.
The contributions will be allocated to development, scriptwriting, post-production, production of university shorts, community cinema and video games. Calls for entries will be open according to each category from today.
Through the competitive funds proposed in Law 10381, Córdoba promotes the audiovisual industry in all its processes. It should be noted that in 2024, attentive to the difficult economic scenario that the country is going through, it was the decision of Governor Martín Llaryora to double the amount originally budgeted for the audiovisual development plan, increasing the contribution that the Government of Córdoba makes for the sector to the sum of 200 million pesos.
The following note details each of the plans along with their bases and conditions:
Provincial support for the comprehensive production of audiovisual content: Community Short Film.
It includes community audiovisual production from a social and participatory perspective, facilitating access to resources for quality audiovisual production; promoting the emergence of new filmmakers through professional training in participation in these projects; and local stories and geographies that can be inserted in the audiovisual field of the Province of Córdoba.
- Seven (7) Prizes of pesos one million eight hundred thousand ($1,800,000) each will be awarded.

Competition for the production of University Short Film
The purpose of the call for competition is to encourage the incorporation into the professional field of students and recent graduates of film, television and audiovisual training courses; as well as facilitating access to the first filmmaking experience and promoting new filmmakers in the audiovisual field of the Province of Córdoba.
- Three (3) financial contributions of pesos three (3) million ($3,000,000) each will be delivered.

Provincial competition for the development of a Short Film or Animated Series
The purpose of the call for competition is to accompany the projects from the idea, script writing, production plan and budget and the option of generating a teaser; thus promoting the Audiovisual Industry and the creation of content of public interest for dissemination in audiovisual media.
- Four (4) contributions of four (4) million pesos each will be delivered.

Provincial competition for the development of a feature film or series script
The purpose of the call for competition is to support projects from the idea to the script writing stage, thereby promoting the Audiovisual Industry and the creation of content of public interest for dissemination in audiovisual media.
- CATEGORY 1 – Long-form development or fiction series without precedent: six (6) prizes of one million pesos ($1,000,000) for each one, whether in real action or live action, or animation.
- CATEGORY 2 – Long-form development or fiction series with antecedents: six (6) prizes of one million five hundred thousand pesos ($1,500,000) for each one, whether in real action or live action, or animation.
- CATEGORY 3 – Feature development or documentary series: twelve (12) prizes of one (1) million pesos ($1,000,000) each, whether in real action or live action, or animation.

Provincial competition for the comprehensive development of Vertical Slice of Video Games
This contest is intended to recognize and reward Cordoba developments with business potential in the sector for the development of VERTICAL SLICE (“Vertical Cut”) is a tool used in the development of a video game, which usually takes place at the end of the pre-production phase, and which works as a proof of concept, which allows to glimpse the main characteristics and functionalities that the video game will have in its final version) in Cordoba in order to promote and professionalize this industry in the Province.
- Three (3) financial contributions of five million pesos ($5,000,000) each will be delivered.

Provincial competition for the production of a Video Game Demo
This contest is intended to recognize and reward Cordoban developments with business potential in the sector for the production of a DEMO (Short but complete version of a video game that presents defined and polished game mechanics, graphics and narrative to provide players with a Representative of the final game. Designed for commercial pitching to partners, investors and marketing to the public, the demo offers a significant sample of the game, allowing players to experience its key aspects and generate interest before the official launch), in Córdoba a. in order to promote and professionalize this industry in the Province.
- (1) financial contribution of fifteen million pesos ($15,000,000) each will be provided.

Post-production incentive program 2024
Intended for producers from the Province of Córdoba, to fully or partially finance projects, through reimbursement of expenses applied in the Province of Córdoba, in the audiovisual post-production stage. The Post-production categories to be promoted through the financial contribution are: Fiction (Series, feature films and TV films) and Documentary (Series, feature films and TV films).
- Each Postproduction category has a maximum limit of seven million pesos ($7,000,000) in financial contribution per project.
