Landslide on Route 48 near San Martin de los Andes: “Extreme caution” requested

The intense rainfall accumulated in the mountain area of ​​Neuquén caused several problems in the Lanín national park this Thursday, like a landslide that left Provincial Route 48 passable but with “extreme caution.”

The administration of the protected area indicated that, as a consequence of the weather contingency of the last 48 hours, Avalanches, landslides, flooding of streams and rivers, and falling trees and stones on roads and trails were recorded.

But it was on Provincial Route 48, between Yuco and Quechuquina whereand lived one of the most complex situationswith a landslide that put the safety of the motorists who travel there is at risk.
