Due to the drone attacks by the Central General Staff (EMC), the main dissident of the FARC, against military installations and the civilian population, Governor Dilian Francisco Toro announced the purchase of a tool to combat this offensive.
“We can’t keep waiting. That’s why we talked to the general and agreed to buy an anti-drone. An inhibitor, because otherwise they will continue to attack us and affect not only the Police and the Army, but also civil society,” Toro said in statements to the capital’s radio media.
Along the same lines, the Governor stressed that there is a team that is evaluating which technology best suits the needs of the territory.
The purchase will be made after an emergency declaration, since it refers to a security issue that cannot be delayed.
