Massacre and destruction have been the tools that have been used Israel to displace the Palestinian people, refusing to recognize the separation of two states to defend interests that are foreign to religion, accused the Palestinian ambassador in Mexico, Mohamed Saadat.

The Palestinian ambassador to Mexico is visiting San Luis Potosí as part of a tour throughout the country to raise awareness of the situation, mainly in the Gaza Stripand contribute to ending the conflict that in 263 days has so far left almost 37 thousand Palestinians murdered, including more than 15 thousand children and 16 thousand womenwhich he said is intended to carry out ethnic elimination. It has also left more than 80,000 wounded and 10,000 missing.

In addition to the murders, he noted that Israel has sought to destroy spaces such as schools, hospitals, sacred sites, roads and water networks To prevent habitable conditions from existing and thus force the Palestinians to leave their territory, “they kill children, burn houses while our people are sleeping.”

He stressed that in order to end this conflict, Israel must be punished “for its crimes” and forced to respect international lawsince there was already a position on the part of the United Nations Organization that has not been addressed; it is here where he pointed out that the support of the people can be generated, through the international pressure towards Israel.

In that sense he questioned why the United States has not taken a stance against the Israeli occupation of Palestinewhich is why he highlighted that since it is the largest economy in the world, it is expected that there will be a government that takes serious responsibility in the face of the conflict that has been going on for 76 years, and stressed that the definitive solution is the establishment of the independent Palestinian State in the territories occupied since 1967, and the Israeli state.

He stated that this conflict encourages the existence of Hezbollah and Hamassince these are groups that defend their territory, which is why he insisted that the definitive solution is the separation of Palestine and Israel.

He also accused that Israel’s occupation is not based on religious interests, but rather on economic and political interestssince its intention is to remain the largest fortress in the Middle East, given that this territory has many riches, for example it is a link between Asia and Africa, and there is oil throughout the region.

The ambassador said he hopes that Mexico’s position on this conflict will not change, despite the Jewish origin of the future President of the Republic, with whom he hopes to meet once she takes office, “we do not bring religious issues into this, We see no reason for Mexico’s position on the conflict to change.for us, whether she is Jewish or not, it does not concern us.”
