Enerfe confirmed that the work will be completed in December

He Greater Santa Fe Gas Pipeline It is a key work for the development of the north of the city of Santa Fe and a good part of the Metropolitan Area comprised of the towns of Monte Vera, Recreo, Arroyo Aguiar and Rincón. In turn, it will allow commercial and industrial sectors to take root in the area. Aside from the moment of uncertainty that reigned during the first months, following the decision of the national government to paralyze the works, the Province ratified the commitment to complete it.

The work is 75% complete, not because of the plumbing issue, which is much more, but because of the pressure reducing and separation station that connects the GNEA. If nothing happens, all connections and measurement separation should be ready by December, then we have a longer schedule until April.”, confirmed Rodolfo Giacosa, president of Enerfe in dialogue with AIRE. And he added: “In principle, by the end of the year the work should be ready with the pressure reducer and the sections that are not connected today.”

By the end of the year the Gas Pipeline should be ready, at least the entire first stage, then the section that goes to Arroyo Leyes, which is 9 kilometers, is missing. In December everything will be connected”he added, explaining that this will allow for a greater flow of gas in the places where, for example, Cooperativa Setúbal and Litoral Gas are connected.

Rincón, Arroyo Leyes and Monte Vera

In the cities of Rincón, Arroyo Leyes and Monte Vera, Enerfé will be in charge of creating the networks and, to carry them out, they will present the municipalities with a contribution scheme for improvements.

Greater Santa Fe Gas Pipeline

The state company ENERFE is carrying out the work on the Greater Santa Fe Gas Pipeline, which will extend for 42 kilometers, from the connection to the GNEA (Northeast Argentine Gas Pipeline) located on the eastern border of the Las Colonias department to Arroyo Leyes in the La Capital department.

The gas pipeline will supply natural gas to the towns of Esperanza, Recreo, Monte Vera, Ángel Gallardo, Arroyo Aguiar, Santa Fe, San José del Rincón -including Colastiné Norte- and Arroyo Leyes, directly benefiting some 100,000 inhabitants, industries, businesses and 1,600 institutions that currently do not have natural gas service.

A project of this magnitude not only provides service to people who did not have it, but also favors the creation of new industries with the consequent increase in labor demand. This will be boosted by the need for gas fitters and workers who must carry out gas installations in each of the beneficiaries.
