The paving of half the road on Pampín Street was completed

The Provincial Government has completed the reconstruction of half of Gobernador Pampín Street, which serves as one of the accesses to the Cichero neighborhood and the main circulation route for sand trucks operating in the area.

There are more than 400 meters of new reinforced concrete pavement, from the intersection with Sargento Cabral Street to the very shore of the Paraná River, which are complemented, at the same time, by the already completed paving of Pringles Street, from Pampín to almost Gallino.

These works, following the express directives of Governor Gustavo Valdés, are carried out by the Ministry of Public Works and Services, through Urban Roads.

In the previously intervened sector, the removal of the old pavement, the compaction of the existing soil and the construction of a 20-centimeter-thick sand-cement base was carried out on which the final layer of reinforced concrete, about 18 centimeters thick, rests.

It should be noted that while the new concrete is being set in Pampín, Vialidad Urbana will continue with the paving of a pedestrian street adjacent to Pringles, which suffered considerable undermining after the recent heavy rains. The entire sector was previously filled with selected and compacted soil and its service infrastructure was readjusted.
