The National Meteorological Service (SMN) has confirmed the arrival of a new polar wave this weekend in Entre Ríos and other provinces of the country. A sharp drop in temperatures is expected, which could reach below zero, reaching up to -2°C, with even lower thermal sensations.

Although a slight rise in temperatures is expected this Thursday and Friday thanks to the presence of the sun, a strong southerly wind will begin to arrive later, intensifying the winter cold in the region. In this way, Saturday and Sunday will be the coldest days.

Sunday will be the coldest day in Entre Ríos

In various locations in Entre Ríos, Sunday is anticipated to be the coldest day. In Paraná, La Paz, Diamante, Villaguay and Nogoyá a minimum of -1°C and a maximum of 15°C is forecast. In Concordia, Federal, Federación, Feliciano and San Salvador, minimum temperatures could drop to -2°C, with maximum temperatures that will not exceed 14°C.

Likewise, in Colón, Uruguay, Ibicuy Islands, Tala and Gualeguaychú a minimum of -2°C and a maximum of 14°C is expected. Meanwhile, in Gualeguay and Victoria, minimums of -1°C and maximums of up to 15°C are anticipated.
