University of Chile has ratified training to face San Antonio United. The team led by Gustavo Álvarez will make a key modification on offense. He changed the score regarding the duel against Municipal Puente Alto.
As he anticipated BOLAVIP CHILE last Tuesday, the coach of the blues will leave Luciano Pons on the bench. After the poor level displayed in the last match, the Argentine striker will be removed from the starting eleven.
Who will he give way to? To Cristián Palacios. The Uruguayan will re-enter the stellar eleven and will accompany Leandro Fernández. Meanwhile, Lucas Assadi will create havoc from a little further back.
Meanwhile, there are also changes in the middle. On the right wing, Juan Pablo Gómez will hand over the starting jersey to Fabián Hormazábal. The center will be filled by Israel Poblete and Matías Sepúlveda. Marcelo Morales will cover the left.
The rearguard will maintain a line of three defenders, which will be made up of Matías Zaldivia, Franco Calderón and Ignacio Tapia. Cristopher Toselli will once again be in goal.
The formation of the University of Chile
With these considerations, the formation of the University of Chile to visit San Antonio Kingdom will be as follows:
Cristopher Toselli in goal; Franco Ezequiel Calderón, Matías Zaldivia and Ignacio Tapia in defense; Fabián Hormazábal, Matías Sepúlveda, Israel Poblete and Marcelo Morales in midfield; Lucas Assadi as liaison; Leandro Fernández and Cristian Palacios up front.
Virtually starting lineup in the blue team, which needs to beat the lilacs in the first duel of the Chile Cup bracket.
When does the U play?
The next game for Universidad de Chile will be against San Antonio. The duel, valid for the quarterfinals of the regional phase, will be played on Friday, June 28. It will be from 5:00 p.m. at the Nicolás Chahuán Nazar Stadium.
