(ADN).- The Federation of Business Entities of Río Negro (FEERN) yesterday presented an administrative appeal challenging the resolutions issued by the Provincial Electricity Regulation Entity (EPRE), which authorized tariff increases in electrical energy, announced by EdERSA.

The presentation was made at the EPRE User Service Office by the entity’s president, Walter Sequeira, the first vice president, José Luis Bunter, and the secretary, Mariano Kats.

“The EPRE resolutions, which allow unjustified increases in electricity rates, have been ignored on multiple occasions, causing serious harm to the businessmen and citizens of our province,” said the FEERN, which brings together SMEs from Rio Negro. “They economically suffocate the community and condemn countless companies to closure, with the consequent devastating impact on employment and regional economic development,” they added.

Finally, they stressed: “From FEERN, we raise our voices in firm protest and demand immediate answers to a series of questions that have been ignored for too long.”
