The team of the Coordinating Unit of the Single Coordinating Center for Ablation and Implants of Entre Ríos (Cucaier), dependent on the Ministry of Health of the province, was in charge of carrying out the forty-second organ and tissue donation operation of the year.
The procedure, which was carried out early Friday morning at the Centenario Hospital in Gualeguaychú, benefited four patients on the waiting list.
Cucaier professionals performed the kidney and corneal ablations according to a strict surgical protocol.
It is worth highlighting the commitment and professionalism of the Gualeguaychú Coordinating Unit who accompanied the donation process.
The health portfolio thanks the donor family, who despite beginning to go through such deep pain, were able to think of other families who are waiting for life opportunities for their loved ones.
