Senator Gustavo Carrizo confirmed that the pre-savings project will be in effect throughout the province, however, special cases must be taken into account.
A few weeks ago it was announced that the Nation agreed to hand over to the provincial government the completion of almost 2,000 houses in the Capital and the interior, which will be completed through a new system of prior savings.
The agreement establishes that all the money invested by the Nation to date and the recovery of the fees will remain in the Province for reinvestment and the operation of the IPV.
In dialogue with the New dairy Gustavo Carrizo Former president of the Provincial Housing Institute and currently a senator, he said: “We understood that the solidarity system was the best system to respond to the housing needs of the province. What we have to do is contribute and make a greater effort to be able to participate in the allocation of housing.”
He also explained that the Pre-Savings system will be in force in Salta in its entirety, however it will not be applicable in the entire province due to the socioeconomic situation that some localities are going through.
“There are particular cases, for example a scenario that is presented to us is Talavera; “As a resident of Talavera, he will achieve prior savings if his needs are different and are much more dissimilar to the opportunities that we have,” he said.
He also stressed: “Since we began our administration, we understood that we had to turn everything that is part of the recovery system around, and all the new investment that has to come for the new housing. If there is something that we have not achieved in these 46 years that the IPB has been in place, it was to make this a virtuous circle.”
Situation in Cafayate
With respect to the homes awarded in Cafayate, I emphasize that logistics must be created to implement prior savings so that progress is made with the community, because the beneficiaries have different conditions and realities regarding the economy.
“Cafayate has 97 houses under construction, with 56 to 60% completed. We have 40 left, we will see, there must be permeability and we must be respectful of the principle of equal opportunity,” he concluded.
