Progressive International demands removal of Cuba from terrorist list

“Cuba is not a sponsor of terrorism,” the IP stated in a letter of appeal published on the social network X, explaining that the Caribbean nation is indeed a sponsor, but of health, peace and liberation.

Throughout its revolutionary history, more than 605,000 health professionals and technicians have provided their services in some 165 countries, the text stressed, referring to Cuban collaboration in this field.

He warned that Cubans are limited in their access to basic resources such as food, medicine, and construction materials due to the blockade, and that the designation on the arbitrary list of sponsors of terrorism further intensifies this unilateral siege.

“We celebrate that Cuba is a promoter of health, peace and liberation,” stated the open letter that urges mobilization to end the long persecution that the island has suffered by the United States Government.
