Governor Raúl Jalil, together with the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports, Daiana Roldán, participated this morning in the launch of the fourth round of the Argentine Motocross Championship, which will take place between July 5 and 7 at the legendary Campanas de Rosario circuit in Fray Mamerto Esquiú.

In this way, motor sport lovers from Catamarca will have the opportunity to see the best riders in the country in the Argentine Motocross Championship. Specifically, this is the fourth date of the Championship and there will be three intense days of competition on the Campanas de Rosario circuit.

It is worth remembering that the championship opened in April in La Pampa, the second was in May in the city of Trenque Lauquen, Buenos Aires, while the third was held weeks ago in Río Tercero, Córdoba.

“The presence of the authorities demonstrates the importance that motor sport has in politics and more specifically with this fourth date of the Argentine Motocross Championship, where there are many people involved working for the growth of the discipline and for the importance it has for Catamarca. events of this nature,” explained Guillermo Perna, Secretary of Sports of the province.

He also highlighted the work that the leadership has been doing in different branches of local sport, as well as the competitors and the performance they achieve in the different competitions that take place in different parts of the country.

The provincial president was accompanied in the presentation of this sporting event by the Secretary of Sports, Guillermo Perna; and the mayors of Fray Mamerto Esquiú, Alejandra Benavidez, and of Las Juntas, Jorge Herrera; the Secretary of Tourism, Evangelina Quarin; the Catamarca pilots who will be competing Jorge “Turbito” Herrera (Cat. 65cc), Saúl Kotler (85cc) and Emiliano Carabajal (125cc); the leaders Alfredo Yoma, vice president of the Argentine Sports Motorcycling Confederation (CAMOD); the Technical Director of the CAMOD race Leo Yoma; and Diego Demelchori, instructor of the International Motorcycle Federation (FIN), among others.
