Renovated spaces for sport and tourism

The 53rd National and International Poncho Festival is approaching and preparations to welcome visitors are in full swing. To this end, the Secretariat of Sports and Recreation of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports, headed by Guillermo Perna, announced the creation of a “Sports Zone”, a space within the Fairgrounds that will offer a wide range of sports and leisure activities for All ages.

From inflatable games to a gaming space with video game consoles, which visitors can enjoy during the days of the festival, from 2 to 9 p.m.

In addition, the Sports Zone will have the presence of the cups: Finalísima, América and del Mundo, won by the Argentine Soccer Team, which will be on display so that attendees can take souvenir photos.

A paragliding flight simulator will also be offered, an extreme track with freestyle exhibitions by pilot Diego Demelchori and a streaming that can be followed from the social networks of the Sports Secretariat, with games, interviews and much more.

Tourism

For its part, the Tourism Pavilion is prepared to show the cultural and tourist wealth of Catamarca through 36 stands and assigned spaces in the 4 entrance halls. Like all exhibition spaces, the pavilion will welcome visitors with free entry from Saturday, July 13 to Sunday, July 21, from 1 to 11 p.m.

The opening day, on Friday the 12th, will open in the afternoon, just after the opening ceremony.

This traditional space will offer the opportunity to tour the province through the promotion of its most notable tourist destinations, its regional products, crafts and active tourism proposals; where visitors can find out about excursions, accommodations, tourist circuits and much more.

In addition, the Tourism Pavilion will have artistic and cultural presentations throughout the days of the festival, with dance numbers, live music with the most varied proposals from local artists and gastronomic demonstrations of regional cuisine.
