On Thursday, the death of a man was reported in Nipe Bay, located in Holguín. The body of Alejandro, the young Cuban, was found in the Nipe channel, according to several reports registered on social media.
Mariolkis Gómez, through his Facebook account, expressed his condolences and thanks: “They found him drowned in the Nipe canal, my condolences to their families, to everyone who asked in one way or another, thank you very much.”
Due to the time that had passed since his death, Alejandro’s body could not be laid to rest. The situation was explained on social networks, where it was mentioned that many hours had passed since his death, which made the wake impossible.
Despite the circumstances, his loved ones managed to pay him a significant tribute. “We played his music and gave him a very nice farewell,” said Mariolkis, apologizing to those who could not be notified in time.
Alejandro’s family, friends and neighbors used social networks to express their regret and remember the young man as a good person, very loved in his community.
The causes of the incident are unknown and will be investigated by the relevant authorities.
