Luis Ortega I Córdoba, (EFE).- Although it is strange that at the end of June Córdoba registers cool temperatures, the usual heat on these dates has been provided by the Mexican singer Luis Miguel, who has melted the more than 8,000 people who have made an appointment at the “Los Califas” bullring to see the start of his tour of Spain after six years of absence.
It is no coincidence that Luis Miguel has chosen the city of Córdoba to present his album ‘México Por Siempre!’ in concert, since his current partner, the designer Paloma Cuevas, is a native of Córdoba and has been enjoying it with other “celebrities” ” of the show by the singer from Mexico, who will tour ten Spanish cities to offer up to fifteen concerts in the coming months.
From Luis Fonsi to Pastora Soler
Just when the natural light fell, the “Sol de México” rose above the macro stage and ignited a dedicated audience from the beginning when they heard the first melodies of “Será que no me amas”, the song with which they started their concert , followed by “Amor, amor, amor”, which the Mexican directed toward line 5, where, out of the public’s and cameras’ eyes, his partner followed the show with friends and celebrities.
In this reserved area, the Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi was briefly seen with his wife Águeda López, also from Córdoba, and the designer Juana Martín, while on the Cordoba sand was the guitarist Vicente Amigo and very close by the businessman Luis Alfonso de Borbón. The singer Pastora Soler, one of the most acclaimed by fans before arriving at the concert, was also seen in the arena.
With the song “Suave”, Luis Miguel captivated the audience of Córdoba, who were standing, following a show in which the light shows and two giant screens showed the Mexican singer up close, who, in his usual black gala suit, did not stop delighting the audience from all corners of Spain.
And even from his native Mexico, since the Aztec tricolor flag proliferated in the stands that did not stop accompanying the lyrics of “Te necesito”, “Hasta que me olvides”, “Somos novios” or “Nosotros” that even silenced the artist’s own voice.
New topics and old ones
Almost twenty songs were performed by Luis Miguel on the Córdoba stage that collapsed with “La fiesta del mariachi” and an endless number of ballads from a lifetime that he combined with songs included in his latest album such as “La Bikina”, “La unconditional”, “Now you can leave” or “The girl in the blue bikini”.
And after two hours of concert, which closed with “Cuando calientes el sol”, the usual white handkerchiefs that proliferate in the bullring when the fans are satisfied with the artist’s performance were transformed into thousands of lights to bid farewell to Luis Miguel who left through the main door of the Cordoba bullring.
