Thousands of visitors are in the municipality of San Pelayo dancing and enjoying the National Porro Festival, in tribute to the University of Córdoba and Rafael Coy Pereira, which runs until next Sunday, June 30, when the winning bands are announced.

Since last Thursday, June 27, porros and fandangos have been played by 900 musicians from 40 musical bands from the departments of Antioquia, Cundinamarca, Boyacá, Atlántico, Bolívar, Magdalena, Córdoba and Sucre, becoming an outpouring of joy through the streets of the municipality.

This Saturday, in the early hours of the morning, the musical dawn will take place with the great band on the María Varilla stage, later There will be academic workshops, a competition of unpublished musical works and participating bands and also fandangos so that attendees can dance until dawn.

On Sunday there will be the Las Aguadoras folklore parade and at night the final will be held to meet the finalists.
