With the premiere of the film in 2019, when Lexi was already seven years old, things changed and although many are still moved by the remembered scene of “I love you 3,000”, there were some adults who did not remember that it was a girl and began harassing her online.
Victim of bullying at 7 years old
Through Instagram, his mother uploaded a video explaining the situation. “Please keep your opinions to yourself so Lexi can grow up in the free world. “She is a normal human being and she is a girl,” began Jessica Rabe, mother of the little actress.
“Sometimes we are rushing from place to place, stressed like everyone else to get to work on time or wherever we are going, and we can seem in a bad mood. I’m sorry if you see us like this, but that’s life! If you ask us for an autograph we almost always say yes, but if we’re having a bad day, that could put us in the wrong place. “We are not perfect,” she said.
The publication was born after they received a message online from a woman saying that Lexie was misbehaving and being rude, and explaining to her mother how she should act in public.
“Meanwhile we were trying to get things ready for the premiere we were going to, and we were tired and sick… I guess this woman was upset because she couldn’t come up to us and talk because we were tired and not in a good mood. If she had approached us, we would have said, ‘Hello.’ But she didn’t,” her mother added on Good Morning America.
That was just one episode of many that they experienced as a family, although at school things were no better. “She was bullied at school, the children made fun of her, insulted her,” Jessica added.

It didn’t take long for another post by the girl to go viral due to the same complaint. “Please do not bother me or my family,” Rabe said in a video posted on her Instagram account, where she explains that she is seven years old and can sometimes act out or be disorderly in public.
“I hate that we have to post this. But once again Lexi is being bothered… “This kind of thing makes celebrities never want to leave their houses and never want to meet people,” Lexie’s mother explained.
“Please keep your opinions to yourselves so Lexi can grow up in a free world. “We have spoken with her, but we do not do it in public,” he stated.
A new life
Five years have passed since all that, and Lexie today is a 12 year old preteen with a future ahead.
Currently, she lives a normal life, with friends and dedicated to her studies, and although she has had small roles in some productions, she has not developed her career as an actress.
