Let’s go with the trailer of ‘Boneyard‘, an action thriller from Lionsgate inspired by the true events of a serial killer who, it seems, could still exist today. Starring Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, Mel Gibson and Brian Van Holt, the film will arrive in select US theaters on June 5, 2024, one month before its VOD release.
When the skeletal remains of eleven women and girls are discovered in the New Mexico desert, an extensive investigation begins. Inspired by true crime stories, this chilling crime thriller follows Police Chief Carter (Jackson), Detective Ortega (Van Holt) and Agent Petrovick (Gibson) in a multi-agency effort to identify and stop the killer. As their agendas and methods collide, a tangled web of intrigue casts suspicion in all directions.
Along with Gibson, Jackson and Holt, the film stars Nora Zehetner and Michael Sirow. Asif Akbar (‘Clown Motel’) is its director from a script that Akbar himself co-wrote with Vincent E. McDaniel, Hank Byrd and Koji Steven Sakai. Colin Bates is the producer of the film.
