I am the guy who will tell you all the latest news in film and television in 3DJuegos. I am passionate about science fiction, fantasy, superheroes and movie curiosities, those little behind-the-scenes stories of the directors and actors we have been following since we were little. My favorite saga? Star Trek. My favorite character? Superman, although lately a little more John Wick. One last thing, I promise not to bore you too much in my topics. LinkedIn

The wait has not been as long as with Riddick, for example, but among fans there is always a desire to enjoy xenomorph stories again on the big screen and this summer we are finally going to see them sweat a lot, and possibly die, a group of young colonists facing the most feared being in the galaxy. But what will be the tone of Alien: Romulus? Isabella Merced gives us some clue.

What will the new Alien movie be like?

As already said, this film will tell an independent story that takes place between the events of The Eighth Passenger and Aliens: The Return in which fans most invested in the franchise will have many recognizable elements. But which one will it be more like? To the Ridley Scott film or to the James Cameron sequel?

“Well, technically it’s an (Alien) 1.5. Oh my God, I don’t even know what that can say. (…) I saw a lot of reactions from fans to the first preview and a lot of them said that it reminded them of Alien Isolation. ( …) So, I could say that it is very claustrophobic, very dark and very authentic, in line with the first film. It offers a lot of respect for the original.” — Via Collider

For the film, Fede Álvarez wanted to avoid green screens as much as possible, which is why On the set there were two simply terrifying xenomorphs that left Merced very happy to see them. We have already had a brief glimpse, but it will be August 16 when we will have the option to enjoy this horror and science fiction film in more depth.
