Thunderbolts movie will return to the roots of what made the MCU great

Actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus reveals very interesting details about the movie Thunderbolts that will hit theaters in 2025.

The movie Thunderbolts is about a group of supporting characters who come together for a big mission. Now, we know some interesting details, since the actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus who plays Valentina Allegra de Fontaine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has revealed the tone they have given to this installment in a recent interview with TNYT.

“It is very well organized. Very methodical. And I don’t mean that in a negative way. Particularly in this movie, frankly, they’re very focused on the human story, believe it or not, they’re trying to get back to their roots, so to speak. We’re trying to stay away from as much CGI or whatever as possible so the stunts are everywhere. And actually, I had to make a couple. Well, I’m making this sound like I’m flying through the air like Captain America or whatever, but I’m not. “It’s just a very, very, very short trick.” Julia Louis-Dreyfus said.

What is the movie about?

For now, the plot of the Thunderbolts movie is a mystery, but we know that Valentina Allegra de Fontaine assembles a team consisting of Yelena Belova / new Black Widow (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Alexei Shostakov / Red Guardian (David Harbour), Antonia Dreykov / Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), Ava Starr / Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) and John Walker / US Agent (Wyatt Russell).

They will have to carry out an almost suicidal mission, which is why they will rebel against Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, although she will have a powerful ally, since Sentry / Robert Reynolds (Lewis Pullman) will debut. But this character is still not very clear how he fits.

Directed by Jake Schreier, the cast also includes Geraldine Viswanathan, Christopher Cocke, Malik Jubal and Alireza Mirmontazeri.

The Thunderbolts movie will be released on May 5, 2025. In addition, that same year there will be other MCU premieres such as Fantastic Four (July 25), Blade (November 7) and Captain America: Brave New World (February 14). Which one are you most looking forward to seeing? Tell me in comments.
