The twelve charming Riojan places that chefs recommend

Every year the Repsol Guide selects the best restaurants in Spain, which it distinguishes with a “Sun”. But there is also another category: what they call “soletes”, places that aspire to that “best kept secret.” That is, bars, restaurants or even ice cream parlors throughout Spain where “it is worth stopping: nearby, friendly places with a good atmosphere,” they say in the guide.

On this occasion, those at Repsol have asked their chefs with Sol to choose their “Soletes”. And 12 of these establishments are from La Rioja: 4 of them were already recognized in previous editions of Soletes and another 8 are new additions. In total, La Rioja has 65 Soletes.

These are the ‘Soletes’ recommended by chefs with ‘Sol’, what the guide calls “The Soletes where the chefs eat.”

In total, 125 chefs from the Repsol Guide universe recommend more than 750 establishments to satisfy every moment of the day at an affordable price.
