We start the first weekend of summer, the season in which many begin their vacations and have plenty of free time to do everything, including watching the new releases coming to Netflix, Max, Prime Video and Disney+.
However, despite entering the summer season, we do not find many premieres worth highlighting on the main streaming platforms, but there are some series and films that serve as an aperitif while we wait for the big binge.

Netflix brings us an interesting Spanish thriller

We start the Netflix news with Clansa Spanish intrigue series created by Jorge Guerricaechevarría whose plot is based on real events.
With Clara Lago and Tamar Novas leading the cast, the plot of the series begins with Ana, a lawyer who arrives to settle in the small town of Cambados, Galicia.
His presence does not go unnoticed by anyone, including Daniel, the son of an important drug trafficker. and currently the visible head of the “Padín clan” while his father remains in prison. This is our review of Clans.

In the field of movies we find it in the Netflix catalog for this weekend Infernal Possession: The Awakening (Evil Dead Rise)the reboot of the popular horror saga that this time Lee Cronin writes and directs.
Starring Alyssa Sutherland and Lily Sullivan, the film follows the story of two separated sisters whose reunion is interrupted by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, thrusting them into a battle for survival as they face the scariest version of family imaginable. One of HBO’s flagship series lands on Max
There is no doubt that the most outstanding among the best Max releases is the arrival of season 2 of the dragon housethe prequel series Game of Thrones which is already one of the most notable productions on the streaming platform.

A recent Spanish film comes to Prime Video

Within the Prime Video news have Birdsa comedy and drama film directed by Pau Durà and starring Luis Zahera, Javier Gutiérrez, Teresa Saponangelo and Edgar Moreno, among others.
It tells the story of Colombo, a man who works in a garage 24 hours a day and supplements his meager salary by dealing marijuana.
On the other hand we have Mario, a peculiar guy who is fond of birds, who appears unexpectedly in the garage and hires Colombo as a driver to go to the Costa Brava to see cranes.
But upon reaching his destination, he tells him that the birds have changed their migratory path towards the Danube delta, in Romania. Mario needs to get there. And Columbo needs the money. Hiding their true motives, they embark on a journey that will lead them to know themselves better and confront themselves.. This is our review of Birds.
One of the star series of Disney+ ends its season

Between the Disney+ premieres we highlight the season finale of Doctor Whothe long-running science fiction series that has started a new “reboot” with Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson.
In this last episode The Fifteenth Doctor will have to face one of the most fearsome enemies he has ever faced, Sutekh.a villain introduced in the classic run of the series during the time of the Fourth Doctor.
We also have the usual episode of Star Wars: The Acolytethe series of the galactic franchise whose plot takes place in the era of the High Republic.

Another of the new Disney+ series is We were the lucky onesa dramatic miniseries directed by Thomas Kail, Amit Gupta and Neasa Hardiman whose cast is led by Logan Lerman and Joey King.
Based on real events, the series follows the members of a separated Jewish family at the beginning of World War IIwhere each of them does everything in their power to survive and reunite.
