Everything has been setbacks for Francis Ford Coppola with ‘Megalopolis’, a science fiction film that took more than 40 years to make and on top of that had to fully finance its 120 million budget. That did not stop him from having a hard time finding a distributor, and now he will also have to face a new setback.
At the time it was said that no one wanted to bear the costs of a million-dollar marketing campaign to bring the public to the movies, and it is clear that Lionsgate has not given up on that.
