This week a new official trailer for George Romero’s Resident Evilthe documentary that will focus on the version of “Resident Evil” that the director of “Night of the Living Dead” was going to carry out but that ultimately did not see the light of day.
This title will explore this failed project that would later be carried out by Paul WSAnderson with Milla Jovovich as the protagonist in a hyper-profitable franchise for Sony Pictures.
Its director Jason Bareford has commented that his mission is to set the record straight about what really happened behind when the project was being forged. He was in the meetings and was even with Romero when Constantin Film told him that in the end they would not make the film with him.
Jason Bareford has confirmed that the documentary that will go on sale has a duration of 110 minutes, will have an aspect ratio of 1.85:1, 4K UHD resolution, and 2.0 sound and 5.1 audio.
In addition, the director has planned a Director’s Cut that will include 30-40 minutes of extra material and new interviews. More details will be given soon.
