This weekend a curious video of a passionate fan of the Beatles named Adrienne, who declares her love to the group, especially to Paul MCCARTNEYon his visit to the United States in 1964. Now, 60 years later, They seem to have found the young woman in the video.

Even when I am 105 years old and an elderly grandmother, I will love them,” the girl says in the video. “And Paul McCartney, if you’re listening, Adrienne from Brooklyn loves you with all her heart. The video, which was recorded by CBS News in 1964 when the Beatles first arrived in the United States, was shared by McCartney himself to promote a Beatles photography exhibition. There, he responded to Adrienne six decades later: “Hi Adrienne, I’m Paul. Listen, I saw your video. I’m in Brooklyn now. I finally got here“.
In a new article published by Rolling Stone magazine, the outlet claims to have found “Adrienne from Brooklyn,” although her ending is not what most fans expect after the clip went viral. “When I saw it, when I heard it, I thought: ‘that’s mom’“Nicole D’Onofrio told the magazine.
D’Onofrio watched the interview with the girl he believes is his mother while using TikTok with his seven-year-old daughter. After seeing the similarity between that girl and her mother, he sent the video to her brothers to confirm it and they all thought the same. “We were like, ‘Oh my God, Mom is Adrienne from Brooklyn,’” he said.
Who is Adrienne?
Adrienne D’Onofrio was born on July 29, 1951 in Bensonhurst (Brooklyn). Raised by her mother after her father died at age 11, she never left the city and was often absent from school to watch musical events such as the arrival of the Beatles in 1964.
She met her husband, Harry, in high school, and they quickly fell in love, having their first child, John, at age 15. They married in 1967 and had four children. In 1992 she was diagnosed with lymphoma and she died shortly before her 25th wedding anniversary, aged 41.
