These are the dates of Rock Al Parque and more festivals in Bogotá

(Tuesday, May 7, 2024). Music lovers can now organize their agenda according to the dates of the festivals in Bogotá. One of them, Rock Al Parque already generates expectations among attendees.

For this year, they have the motto “Festivals for water” and are organized by the District Institute of the Arts – Idartes.

The dates of these festivals are intended for the entire second half of the year, then, from June to November, Citizens will enjoy a different Al Parque musical event every month.

But this year there is the novelty of two new festivals, which will undoubtedly be appreciated by the diverse musical spectrum that Bogotá has: Popular and Vallenato to the Park.

Rock To The Park 2024

The next November 9, 10 and 11 arrive at Simon Bolivar Park he Rock in the Park Festival which, with 27 editions and the participation of great exponents of the genre, is the largest free Festival in Latin America.

This event was born in March of this year through Draft Agreement No. 029 of the Bogotá Council, which creates this event in order to promote and preserve vallenato as a representative musical genre of Colombian folklore.

Popular to the Park

The exponents of the rancheras, corridos, Mexican huapangos, aisles, Ecuadorian waltzes, zambas, Argentine tangos and cumbias, among other sounds they will have a space in Popular to the Parka Festival that emerged with the aim of being an artistic platform to promote exponents of this musical genre.

This event will take place on September 14 and 15 at El Tunal Metropolitan Park.
