Rolo Sartorio, singer and leader of the renowned national rock band La Beriso, made a surprising announcement in an interview with Clarion when they declared that they will not record any more albums.

This decision is due to the fact that “people only want to listen to old hits,” as he stated. “If I started the band again today, I would have released the first four albums and nothing more, because people only want to hear that,” he added.

The musician expressed that despite this he wants to continue writing and releasing songs to renew himself. “Then maybe I will make songs for others or release a solo album without going out and playing it. “I like the idea of composing for others and I am already doing it,” he indicated.

The singer also referred to the “haters” on social networks and indicated that at first the criticism from those platforms “hit him badly.” And he added: “I would advise other artists not to have social networks and that’s it, because then it influences you and you don’t know where to go with the songs.”

The band will perform next May 18 at the Movistar Arena.

The musician’s announcement generated an impact and was a trend on networks, where many uploaded memes
