tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Serendipity’s Embrace” (aka “Is It Fate?”) has revealed a new poster!
Based on a popular webtoon, “Serendipity’s Embrace” will tell the story of young people who find true love and their dreams after accidentally meeting their first love from 10 years ago. Kim So Hyun will star as Lee Hong Joo, an animation producer who is afraid of love after painful memories of his previous relationship — and who undergoes an unexpected change after meeting Kang Hoo Young (Chae Jong Hyeop), who witnessed some of the lowest moments of his past.
The published poster shows the touching memories of first love. Among the noisy crowd of students, Lee Hong Joo’s eyes shine as he confidently hands a letter to Kang Hoo Young. Kang Hoo Young stares at Lee Hong Joo with a face that is difficult to read.
The text that says: “Back then, we were silly but adorable, clumsy but passionate. Maybe?” makes viewers curious to know how the 19-year-olds’ love story will evolve as adults.
The production team highlighted, “Hong Joo and Hoo Young’s first love, which appears as destiny, will give us excitement and laughter. From their school days to their reunion when they are 29, viewers will be able to enjoy the charming chemistry between Kim So Hyun and Chae Jong Hyeop, who will reminisce about first love while moving back and forth between the past and the present.”
“Serendipity’s Embrace” will premiere on July 22 at 8:40 pm KST.
