Mike Portnoy has talked about the new album DREAM THEATER In a new interview with Marcelo Vieira and Matheus Ribeiro.
“If I’m honest, I think it picks up where ‘Black Clouds & Silver Linings’ left off. The five of us have a certain style when we write together, and if you listen to the 1999 album with this line-up, ‘Scenes From A Memory’ through ‘Black Clouds & Silver Linings” from 2009, if you look at that period of five or six albums, that’s the sound and style of these five people. That’s why I think it’s a good indication of what you can expect from the new album. DREAM THEATER. It certainly sounds like DREAM THEATER classic.”

PENTAGRAM have presented their new line-up. Accompanying the singer and founder Bobby Liebling The guitarist will be there Tony Reed (MOS GENERATOR), the bassist Scooter Haslip (MOS GENERATOR) and the drummer Henry Vasquez (SAINT VITUS, SPIRIT CARAVAN, THE SKULL/LEGION OF DOOM, SOURVEIN).
PENTAGRAM have signed with Heavy Psych Sounds Records to release their next album and reissue their albums “Sub-Basement” and “Review Your Choices”.
