River had another worrying performance on his visit to Deportivo Riestra and lost 0-2 at the Guillermo Laza, for the fifth date of the Professional League. And once again, Martín Demichelis came under scrutiny for really inexplicable changes: already at a disadvantage, the coach put Agustín Palavecinowho will leave the club next week, and did lateral castling.

At 26 minutes into the second half, being 0-1 and after having previously bet on the arrivals of Agustín Ruberto and Franco Mastantuono instead of Facundo Colidio and Nacho Fernández, Demichelis called Palavecino and Milton Casco and removed Esequiel Barco and Enzo Díaz, respectively.

River played a terrible game against Riestra.

The modification of sides is a recurring change by the coach during games, and had already been questioned on previous occasions for making them in similar situations, in which River loses, plays badly and has no offensive weight. In turn, the particularity of the midfielder’s entry is that he has already closed his departure to the Mexican Necaxa.

The other three changes by Demichelis against Deportivo Riestra

Almost immediately after Alan Barrionuevo’s goal, Micho took out two of the weakest players in an already very flat first half: Nacho Fernández, who was participatory but imprecise, although he had a chance to score with a right-footed shot, and Facundo Colidio, who went unnoticed and never found his place in the field.

After the additions of Palavecino and Casco, who did not change the course of the match, the last change was that of Ian Subiabre for Leandro González Pirez, on a very bad afternoon, and with the team already playing in attack. Minutes later, Riestra took advantage of the spaces, got a penalty and extended the lead.
