The National Social Security Administration (Anses) announced that in July 2024 a new increase will be applied for retirees and pensioners, adjusted according to May inflation. This increase, of 4.2%, is derived from the Consumer Price Index (CPI) released by the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (Indec).

Anses: increase based on inflation

The update of the assets of retirees and pensioners in July is aligned with the latest inflation record, marking an increase of 4.2% corresponding to May 2024. It should be noted that starting next month, the Law of Mobility, which established quarterly increases, and will proceed with monthly adjustments based on the variation in the CPI.

In June 2024, the minimum retirement was $206,931.10. Added to the bonus of up to $70,000, the beneficiaries of the minimum received a total of $276,931.10. In addition, with the settlement of the half bonus of the Complementary Annual Salary (SAC), a retiree or pensioner with the minimum received a total of $380,396.65.

By July 2024, when the 4.2% readjustment is applied, the minimum retirement will rise to $215,622 for 65% of the beneficiaries, while the maximum gross income will rise to $1,450,933.

According to him Decree 274, the mobility applied corresponds to the monthly variation of the CPI with national coverage. “In July 2024, the variation in the Consumer Price Index corresponding to May 2024 will be paid; and in August the variation corresponding to June will be paid, and so on,” indicated the official letter.

Holders of the Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM) will also receive an increase, reaching an asset of $172,497. Likewise, Non-Contributory Pensions (PNC) for Disability and Old Age will increase to $150,935.

Anses established the payment schedule for July 2024, ensuring that beneficiaries will receive their adjusted salaries as announced. The calendar details the exact payment dates for each group of beneficiaries, facilitating planning and access to the necessary resources for retirees and pensioners.

Non-Contributory Pensions

  • Documents ending in 0 and 1: Monday, July 8, 2024.
  • Holiday Tuesday, July 9: Independence Day.
  • Documents ending in 2 and 3: Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
  • Documents ending in 4 and 5: Thursday, July 11, 2024.
  • Documents ending in 6 and 7: Thursday, July 11, 2024.
  • Documents ending in 8 and 9: Friday, July 12, 2024.

Retirees and pensioners who do not exceed the minimum income

  • Documents ending in 0: Monday, July 8, 2024.
  • Holiday Tuesday, July 9: Independence Day.
  • Documents ending in 1: Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
  • Documents ending in 2: Thursday, July 11, 2024.
  • Documents ending in 3: Friday, July 12, 2024.
  • Documents ending in 4: Monday, July 15, 2024.
