What followed was a terrifying awakening. Patricio revealed that he was found almost dead, lying on the ground and on the verge of death, which led him to be admitted to a rehabilitation house. “I was hard, I felt as if my teeth moved. I stopped consuming it when they found me lying, almost in a coma and took me to the Arturo house and took care of me until I woke up,” he said.
“I left it there, never again. I left her suddenly and a horrible depression came to me,” said the musician, making it clear that the impact of addiction was so strong that his body and mind could not bear it anymore.
The decision to abandon cocaine was not easy. Despite the devastating consequences of the drug, addiction did not disappear immediately.
“I cut dry because I was afraid,” Patricio explained, recognizing that it was the fear of dying, which finally prompted him to abandon the substance. However, that abrupt departure from the world of drugs was accompanied by a significant emotional price: “Horrous depression came to me,” he said. Although he left cocaine behind, the recovery process was long and painful.
From that moment, Patricio He has had to face the sequels of his addiction, such as panic attacks, which became a constant in his life. “Now I have panic attacks. It happens to me once a week. That’s my cross, it happened to me,” he confessed. Although the singer never spent money on the drug, since they were always offered by other people, the effects of his addiction chase him on his daily life. Panic attacks, which often occur without prior notice, are one of the sequels that he faced since he left cocaine, a constant reminder of the battle he fought.
