The president of the PP of Castilla-La Mancha, Paco Núñez, values ​​that his party and the PSOE have reached an agreement to reform the Autonomous Statute, although it does not assume that the number of deputies passes from the current 33 to 55. “To me, 55 deputies seem to me a barbarity,” he recognized in the Cope chain.

From now on, a majority of three fifths will be necessary to change the number of deputies despite the increase in the fork, so the PP will be key to giving green light or not to the modification. Therefore, already in the next legislature “it will begin to be negotiated whether or not the deputies are convenient.” “But, today, what is agreed is that the PP was not going to compromise with modifying the electoral law,” he added.

In any case, it applauds that the new statute will “improve the ability to pay health care, the ability to pay educational attention or to have attention from the social point of view”; or that they will reinforce “agricultural policies.”
