Given this scenario, the Ñuble Health Service (SSÑ) reported that it has reinforced its strategies to ensure a timely and coordinated health response throughout the welfare network.
During the SE 18, which included from April 27 to May 3, there was a 16.8% increase in emergency consultations for respiratory causes compared to the previous week.
In that line, the director of the SSÑ, Elizabeth Abarca Triviño, stressed: “During the SE 18, the virus with the highest circulation registered in Ñuble was influenza A, followed by the rhinovirus and adenovirus. In the coming days, we project an increase in viral circulation, so, the network is prepared to display additional measures that strengthen the capacity of care, ensuring the availability of supplies, medications and trained personnel in critical areas ”.
