CEMEX marks a milestone in the construction industry, when developing concrete additives with a formulation based mainly on organic and recycled materials.
This innovative additive line «redefines sustainability standards without compromising product performance«, according to the firm.
CEMEX BIO additives are composed of 65 % by materials of natural origin, which represents a significant advance in the sustainability goals of the construction industry.
“We are proud that Colombia is the first country in the region, in which Cemex offers this line of bio additives, from local agribusiness and capable of guaranteeing the same quality and efficiency as a traditional additive,” said Alejandro Ramírez, president of Cemex for Colombia and Peru.
