Rubén Sánchez, a student in the fifth architecture cycle of the Technological university of Peru (UTP), was pushed from the top of the Yanbal Bridge, in the district of The olive trees.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, April 30, when a group of seven young people, allegedly linked to César Vallejo University (UCV), intercepted it and attacked brutally.
The mayor of the district was outraged by the work and announced his demolition for the next few days.
A video recorded by witnesses teaches the exact moment in which Sánchez is pushed by the stairs of the bridge, being lying on the ground.
According to his mother, Glasdeni Carlos Manrique, the young man may have lost his life. “They sent me the videos and I see that my son has been able to be dead. He would currently be watching him,” my people ‘above’ told the program.
Rubén had come to his studies center to meet with colleagues for university work. When withdrawing from the place, accompanied by two friends, crossed the group of aggressors, with whom he had a brief exchange of words. According to their testimony, some tried to calm the situation, but the attack climbed quickly.
“I was returning to the house, we were calm and there was a group. As there were several, they began to ‘shrink’ and the fight began. […] They kept fighting and I was already on the floor, ”said the young man, who is currently recovering in his home.
Young also suffered the theft of her cell phone
During the attack, they also stole the cell phone. He was helped only by witnesses and emergency transferred to a clinic, where multiple fractures were diagnosed.
“We went to the clinic at 3 in the morning and my nephew we found it unconscious. […] What we ask is justice, the boys have to assume their responsibility, ”said a student of the student.
The complaint was only formalized at the Laura Caller Iberico police station after the family obtained the videos that show the aggression. So far, three alleged involved have been identified: Sebastián Alarcón, Junior Mendoza and Máximo Alonso Solís.
Meanwhile, César Vallejo University has not issued any official pronouncement to clarify if the aggressors have an active link with their institution.
