EFE.- Authorities of the Ministry of Health From the state of Sinaloa, a total of 14 elementary students were intoxicated with amphetamine during celebration of the celebration of the Children’s Daywhich was held on April 30 in Mexico.
The head of the agency CUITLÁHUAC GONZÁLEZmedia informed this Saturday that 14 minors were treated after they presented symptoms of drug intoxication, after consuming contaminated food and beverages at a meeting.
He said that laboratory studies that were practiced to the minors tested positive for amphetaminea stimulating drug.
He indicated to media that initially, 12 children were treated between 6 and 10 years in hospitals and two more at the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS).
“In total there were 14 children were the ones who received medical attention, the laboratory report came out during the night, which tells us that it is apparently an amphetamine that caused poisoning,” González said.
“Fortunately, he said, the children are healthy and saved, stable, and they were discharged to go home with their families,” he added at the time he warned that an act was raised before the authorities against whom he is responsible.
