The Civil Guard arrested two men of Dominican nationality for their alleged relationship with the murder of shots of the owner of a carbon bar five months ago, specifically on the afternoon of December 4, 2024.
The victim was José Luis Alvarado, 33. The murder occurred inside the Castro bar, which the victim was run, on Anllóns de Carballo street. The man was known as Chelo “the councilor.”
The security chamber installed at the bar recorded the moment when two hooded men persecute the owner of the bar to the bathroom, where he tried to take refuge and where they ended up running it.
The arrest of the two men was carried out on Wednesday by agents of the area of crimes against the persons of the Judicial Police of the Civil Guard Command of A Coruña. The detainees passed this Friday at court, and the judge decreed the entry into prison for both.
The arrests were made in Madrid and Barcelona. Several home records were also carried out in the operation. One of the suspects arrested him just when he had just left prison, after serving a sentence for other crimes.
The operation was scheduled to be carried out on Monday, but it had to be postponed for Wednesday due to the blackout.
