The Human Rights Commission of the State of Colima informed the population that has opened ex officio the complaint number CDHEC/2V/092/2025 for the unfortunate events that occurred on Saturday night May 3 in Manzanillo.
The Commission recalled that this day elements with uniforms of public safety and road police of the municipality threw pepper gas against people who were in the concert of the group “The Great Silence”.
The CDHEC/2V/092/2025 complaint has already been notified to the municipal authority, and is waiting for the corresponding report by the authority before these facts.
“We strongly condemn the unjustified use of tear gas during the concert, solidarity with affected people and, consequently, has opened the complaint file to investigate the events that occurred,” he published on his social networks.

He informed that the agency will give timely to the case and carry out all the necessary proceedings in accordance with its powers and powers, with the aim of clarifying the facts, reaching the truth, demarcating responsibilities and facing those that correspond.
